The Biarritz Hotel, in St Brelade’s Bay, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded an AA Four-Star Rating following a recent inspection.
For over 60 years, the Biarritz has stood proudly above Jersey’s most picturesque bay, earning a loyal following for its panoramic views and warm hospitality. Guests can now enjoy a range of exciting upgrades to both the décor and facilities.
In 2024, the hotel joined forces with Bespoke Hotels, one of the UK’s leading independent hotel groups, to revitalise the property and help it reach its full potential.
Haydn Fentum, Chairman of Bespoke Hotels, commented:
‘We were thrilled to welcome the Biarritz to our group and to add Jersey to our growing portfolio of destinations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel’s breathtaking views and the genuine warmth of its service. It’s been a pleasure working with the Biarritz team, and we see a bright future for the hotel and our partnership.’
Recent enhancements include the introduction of a licensed bar and the appointment of a new head chef, who has brought fresh energy to the kitchen and crafted vibrant new menus. Guests can enjoy an extensive selection of wines, champagnes, beers, spirits, and cocktails – best savoured while taking in the sunset from the terrace. Guest rooms have also been refurbished to enhance comfort and convenience, aligning with the expectations of today’s four-star traveller.
Jason Whyte, Hotel Director at the Biarritz, shared his delight at the hotel’s new status:
‘This is a fantastic achievement, and I’m so proud of our team for their dedication and hard work in transforming the hotel. I’m also grateful to Bespoke Hotels for their support and guidance throughout the journey. We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with our guests and to welcome them for a truly four-star experience at the Biarritz.’
