KPMG are First in the Channel Islands for Cyber Security Qualification

Matej Jurkic, KPMG in the Channel Islands Digital and Cyber Advisory Manager, has become the first SABSA Chartered Security Architect registered in the Channel Islands, having completed the Foundation Certificate (SCF).

The enterprise architecture qualification, SABSA, is used globally to develop and implement business-driven, risk and opportunity focused security architectures at both enterprise and solutions level.

The SABSA framework is used in sectors as diverse as Banking, Nuclear Power, Information Services, Communications Technology, Manufacturing and Government, to ensure business needs are met completely and that security services are designed, delivered and supported as an integral part of IT management infrastructure.

Mr. Jurkic joined KPMG in the Channel Islands in 2014 and has over a decade of experience in Information Security. He focuses on aligning business and security strategies for clients across the Channel Islands, sourcing smart, creative and forward-thinking approaches to overcome a variety of security challenges.

ZEDRA APPOINTS HENRY KIERULF AS CLIENT DIRECTOR

Independent trust, corporate and fund services company ZEDRA has appointed Trust and Private Client specialist Henry Kierulf as Client Director.

Mr. Kierulf is a senior leadership professional with strategic and operational experience including acquisitions and integrations in Trust, Investments, Banking and Professional Services. He has significant experience providing Wealth Management and Fiduciary Services to global HNW families, advisors and corporations.

As Client Director at ZEDRA, he will lead a trust and corporate administration team, focusing on the development, maintenance and growth of a portfolio of private and corporate clients ensuring high levels of client service. Together with the other members of the senior leadership team, he will lead the client facing activity of the ZEDRA Jersey business, ensuring this is aligned to, and promotes, the business’ strategy and culture.

Mr. Kierulf is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & Marketing. For the majority of his career he has held senior positions for an international trust company and bank working across multiple jurisdictions such as Barbados, the Cayman Islands, London and finally Jersey, where he was head of the Director and client service teams in the British Isles fiduciary business.

ZEDRA operates across 14 jurisdictions and the Jersey office houses their largest team with over 140 employees and a continued strategy for growth. The business provides a wide range of trust, corporate and fund services to an international client base. Mr. Kierulf’s appointment will further strengthen the breadth and depth of experience amongst the Jersey team.
